ConFuzzled is only possible because of the dedicated team of people working behind the scenes to bring the convention together and make the magic happen. We are always expanding, and as such we are looking for volunteers to fill our vacant staff and crew positions.
Working for the convention is fun, enjoyable and rewarding work and doesn’t need to be time intensive – even if you can only offer a few hours a week or can only offer us assistance at the convention itself, we may have a spot for you.

ConFuzzled Creative is looking for a 3D Generalist who may be interested in joining the ConFuzzled Creative team’s Portal as Crew for our 2027 cycle.
This is a volunteer, unpaid role, that requires some of your donated time all year round. You will help us develop 3D assets for the convention’s portal world. This role will require a decent understanding of the programs Blender, Unity, and a texture painting software such as Substance Painter.
We are especially interested in hearing from people with experience in:
• 3D Art and Design
• 3D Modelling
• 3D Texturing
• Unity and Vrchat build knowledge
• Understanding of game ready mesh and texture optimisation
This role is focused on the development of 3D assets that will be used to build the virtual portal world hosted in VRchat and run during the con. Those with knowledge of VRChat specific build limitations is ideal as a bonus.
➡️ To express interest, please email [email protected]
Please include a short introduction explaining why you want to volunteer your time for ConFuzzled, and a portfolio or examples showing relevant 3D or VR build work.
We will review all submissions and get back to you as soon as we can, with informal chats likely to take place across September and October.
